CLO1: Justify Emotional Intelligence (EI) with awareness of the concepts of Cultural Intelligence (CQ) in the context of professional interactions within the UAE.

You have recently finished your Bachelor of Science degree from Rabdan Academy and have returned to your organisation. You consider that Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Cultural Intelligence (CQ) plays an important role in leadership, managing yourself and others, whilst influencing your task performance.
You also consider that raising self-awareness through the use of EI self-assessment tools like that conducted
in class, may assist in recognising how your emotional responses and cultural adaptability may navigate yourself politically in the workplace to benefit you, your organisation, and your contribution to the resilience of the UAE. Hence, the project is designed to enhance a personal awareness of your emotional schema and cultural adaptability while applying it to professional practice applications.
Project Task
- Discuss the main aspects of Emotional Intelligence (EI) and
- How does Emotional Intelligence relate to Cultural Intelligence (CQ) in a multi-cultural environment to help understand risk and resilience?
Hence your project will have eight (8) headings in PowerPoint presentation style as follows:
