If you click on Researchers and then scroll down you will see an option for Free Online Full Text Articles. The Biomedical and Life Sciences section of PubMed is helpful: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/ Google Scholar is another useful link: http://scholar.google.com/ National Guideline Clearinghouse: www.guidelines.gov. You can use either of the above to look for articles and other sources needed

I need two scholarly sources pertaining to the topic I have provided.

Great. You can also add and research eMAR which is part of the EHR (electronic health record) and how it prevents errors on the nurses part since each medication being administered must be scanned and how it protects both the patient and the nurse. Just an idea I have thought about so find a way to implement it in the discussion.

 

 

 

Solution

Locating sources of information was difficult as many important sources required a subscription or even purchasing the entire article. Other articles that were readily available did not contain specific details about EHR, and others were old sources.

The wording was not complicated, and information derived from these sources was easy to read and comprehend.
