Based on the assigned readings in Saving Truth, on page 149, Murray asserts that, in our post-truth “Culture of Confusion,” preferences take precedence over facts and truth.

He goes on to state: “If conservatives or Christians mistreat people with gender dysphoria to prop up their sense of self-righteousness, progressives mistreat them to advance their agenda of autonomy.”

Do you agree with his statement? Why or why not?

How should this issue be addressed in a proper balance of truth and love?

Solution

I agree with Murray’s statements from that “In our post-truth “Culture of Confusion, “preferences take precedence over facts and truths, and if traditionalist or Christians mishandle people with gender dysphoria to hold on their sense of self-righteousness, progressives mistreat them to advance agenda of autotomy” (pg. 149).
