MIS 201 COURSE PROJECT

You are the owner of an online shop based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Along with your team (maximum 4 members including yourself) are creating the website for your E-shop which includes the following:

Part 1

  • Home page which includes the name and logo of your website and a brief about your business.
  • About us page which includes a brief about the team members (student ID, name, and the reason why you chose your major)
  • Products page: minimum 5 products with pictures, complete product description and price
  • Contact page: email and social media page
  • Summery page: summarize any chapter from the course, mention the most important topics you have studied and write them in your own words (plagiarism is not allowed and will lead to Zero marks for the whole group.)
  • Paste the link of your website on lms

Part 2

  • Using MS Access, design three tables for your shop database. Add appropriate columns, data types and identify primary keys
  • Fill the three tables with minimum 4 records in each table
  • Create a form for each table
  • Upload your database on lms

 

  • Use only free web hosting services. Please make sure to use ONLY FREE features. You will be able to build and publish your website using ONLY FREE FEATURES!
  • Each group member should Submit the link of your website and database file via lms in the submission link of your section only.
  • This project is 15% of your total marks.
